About Endpak

With the assistance of a $150,000 SBA start up loan and $100,000 in personal funds, the company was established in 1993 with the two principals and two employees.

The company began producing “End Bags” which are narrow sleeves used to package “can ends” or “lids”. It was not long before Endpak increased their capacity and overtook many of the clients from Carlos’ previous employer and competitor. Within two years the company began to diversify their operation with the addition of Sewn Open Mouth (SOM) multi-wall and Square Bottom (SOS) bags.

By April 2000, Endpak outgrew two facilities and proceeded to purchase a 3rd. The increase in infrastructure facilitated the further expansion of its capacity. Endpak acquired additional end bag machines, as well as printing equipment to support an increasing multi-wall market.
Towards the end of 2003, Endpak expanded their product line by acquiring additional multi-wall bag equipment. The expansion complimented the line of multi-wall with Pasted Valve and Pinch Bottom bags.

Throughout its 30 years of existence, Endpak has been honored by its customers and featured in publications such as Hispanic Business, Hispanic Trends, United States Small Business Administration (2004 Small Business Persons of the Year), The California State Assembly, 34th Congressional District and many other local publications. Furthermore, they were also featured on a KTLA television show- Minority Success Stories.
